to the LEXINGTON OPERA SOCIETY
The mission of the Lexington Opera Society is to enhance the general public's awareness and appreciation of opera in central Kentucky and throughout the Commonwealth, primarily through support of the Opera Program at the University of Kentucky and the continuation of its educational and public programs.

What's NEW
Congratulations Schmidt Vocal Arts Center
UK Opera Theatre has exciting news: Funds have been raised to complete the renovation of the Schmidt Vocal Arts Center. The project will build out the offices and studios on the second floor, enclose the area under roof on the first floor, and install attractive landscaping. The architects are preparing final plans. UKOT will vacate the building during renovation, which should be completed by the end of the year. When details are worked out, more information will be announced.
